What is Metrum Genie?
Metrum Genie automates equipment validation, calibration and compliance through one multi-parametric sensor ecosystem. Scheduled QC routines capture, analyze, and log results automatically, and the platform keeps your lab audit-ready, so embryologists spend less time on QC and more time on embryology.
What does Metrum Genie measure?
Metrum Genie measures temperature, relative humidity, CO₂, O₂, pH, pressure, VOCs and particle count. Temperature sensors such as T-UFT and T-NDL measure culture droplets in Petri dishes; the MG-CO2 Incubator Sensor measures conditions inside benchtop incubators; and the MG-LAB1 and MG-LAB2 sensors measure laboratory environment.
How accurate are the measurements?
Metrum Genie temperature sensors, such as the T-UFT thin flexible sensor, are accurate to ±0.03°C in the physiological range. The MG-CO2 Incubator Sensor measures CO₂ with 0.1% accuracy between 4.5% and 7.5%. The Lab Sensors page lists range, accuracy and resolution for every MG-LAB parameter.
How does compliance reporting work?
The Genie app records sensor data continuously, detects threshold breaches and sends real-time alarm notifications. It keeps validation and calibration records with full history, and on the Pro plan, validations can be scheduled daily, weekly or monthly. Audit-ready reports can be exported in PDF or CSV formats without manual logging.
What hardware does Metrum Genie offer?
Temperature sensors connect to Metrum Genie through the MG-TM temperature module for live readings. The MG-CO2 Incubator Sensor sits inside a single benchtop incubator chamber and is supplied pre-calibrated. The MG-LAB1 and MG-LAB2 sensors measure the cleanroom, and the UCK ultrasonic cleaner cleans the Petri dish probes. Browse every SKU on the Products page.
